Quite possibly the greatest play in Saints history....

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Take a look at it please . Take into account the flat first half play on Brooks part , he has done it all season . Brooks crams a game into a half , thus balancing his game total stats ...

The greatest play of alllllllllllllllllllllllll time.

A bit inconsequential now. Only the Saints can do this.

But - I have a strange feeling. The curse - because surely there is one - is now lifted. Please Saints fans make it so.

We will have a spine, and grow from here.

Believe!

(I\'m getting ready for hibernation now)

BTW, for you guys who constantly beat the AB drum, consider this: He finished the day 22 of 38 for 296 yards. Take away the 75 yards on the last play and he was 21 of 37 for 221 yards...hardly a stellar performance.

On the bright side, at least he didn\'t fumble the ball.

I have a long memory...had Brooks played better during the eight losses this year, this last extra point wouldn\'t have been so crucial. He is an average quarterback and has been ever since he proclaimed himself, during his sit-out, one of the top 5 QBs in the NFL. You may not like it but that\'s the fact, !

I won\'t even get into this with you. So what if I don\'t agree with you. The point is, how can you even suggest a Brooks fault after being KEY in the play, not only did he recognize the pass, but ran upfield and made the block to spring the score....yet you have the nerve to say \"im surprised he didn\'t throw it away\" WTF does that have to do with him sitting out two seasons ago or claiming to be top 5? nothing.

On a day where we had NO running game and Deuce fumbled the ball twice, Brooks had to put the offense on his shoulders and had a fantastic day even WITHOUT that last play. Totally laughable!!!!!!!!!

Billy I believe it is fair to say Brooks is not responsible for losing the game but this statement is a bit of a reach as well.

First you say this and then you read me the riot act. Fair enough.

It was sarcasm...if you don\'t know what that is, look it up. In the meantime, don\'t get in a war of words with me.

\"WTF does that have to do with him sitting out two seasons ago or claiming to be top 5? nothing.\"

Since you didn\'t get it the first time, I\'ll try it again. He\'s been average ever since then. Don\'t believe me, look it up. His record as a starter is .500 and you may think he\'s pro-bowl caliber but you\'re wrong. OK?

Oh really? Exactly what is a reach about it? Keep in mind, every bit of offense we had Brooks was the man pulling the trigger. No running game, fumles by Deuce. Who would you say had the best day for the offense? Also, don\'t overlook the dropped passes and the great decisions Brooks made today. I call it a fantasic day. Was it a career day? NO!! Fantastic? YES!!!!!!
