Saints agreed to terms with former Clemson S DeAndre McDaniel.

It's a nice fit. McDaniel struggles are primarily in coverage, and the Saints are good about keeping their strong safeties from having to roam around the back end too often. McDaniel plays the run reasonably well and has an obvious nose for the ball with 15 interceptions in his college career. He may have to excel on special teams early to avoid the practice squad, though.

Here are a few scouting reports FWIW. You'll have one say he's a little slow and one that says he has above average speed. It's all over the place but not atypical when it comes to scouting reports... lots of contradicting views.

I'm not trying to sleep next to my computer all night lol.

Actually since there's only 75k to pass around, I don't think we'll get many of the notable guys.
