lombardi with nfl net. seems to think bush himself just wants out because he knows the saints org. will not give him what he wants and that is 12 mill.

Nobody is going to give Reggie $12 mil. That's a tenth of the salary cap for just one player. No way to trade him because nobody will pick up that contract, so if we can't sign him for something reasonable, our only option is to cut him. I love Reggie and I personally think that's a horrible way to end the relationship between Reggie and the Saints but that's the way it has to work.

I personally was more valuable to the Saints last year. I want 12 million, too!

ok its not 12 mill its 11.8. were all proud and i beleive it goes back to the ingram signing. hes losing his star power in N.O. i want bush here, but it may be that time.
