Despite reports to the contrary, a league source insists the Saints have not yet come to terms with Illinois linebacker Martez Wilson.

Wilson, a third round draft pick by New Orleans last April, is expected to compete for playing time on both the defense and special teams this year. Earlier today he tweeted that he was, 'the new #95,' for the Saints, and there was an independent report saying terms have been reached. The Saints have made no comment on Wilson or any of the team's other draft picks thus far, but a source familiar with the Wilson matter says there is no deal at the moment.

LB'er could be a competitive spot in training camp. Wilson and Casillas will both have a shot at starting. From what I understand we just signed another up and coming player to compete with at camp. This has a lot of potential coming into camp. Let's see how it shakes out.

i hope its not too competitive. if someone is having trouble beating out our LBs we have problems
