What/who do we get for Reggie?
 

I am hearing we actually got one of there 2nd year guys along with a pick next year. I can't find anything specific though....

For what it is worth, Saints got safety Amaya out of the Bush trade
 

I wonder if Amaya is practice squad eligible ... I suppose he would have to clear waivers to get there.

Amaya may have something to say about that. I hope he says it on the field and has us speaking a new tune.

Considering we only have Jenkins under contract as a safety you can almost surely count on Amaya making the squad. He did lead the Dolphins in special team's tackles last season.

I read that many considered him Miami's best special teams player.

I think this spells the end for Reis and/or Prioloux.

We are loading up on players with solid special teams reputations and potential.

Yup. I agree. Special teams were lacking severely last year. I'm also hoping we can pull the trigger on Danieal Manning at SS. As much as I like Harper, there's no guarantee we can re-sign him and Manning could handle the punt return duties which Reggie left behind.

The full trade has yet to be released, so we will have to wait for more info on what else if anything the saints got.

That is confirmed by my source as well. He is an up and comer safety as well.
