Darren Sharper

Sorry if this has already been discussed but when the lockout began I pretty much tuned out football and forgot about it and now I'm trying to catch up on everything. What happened to Darren Sharper? Has he retired? Playing for someone else? Gone into sportscasting? What?

No word on him yet in free agency. Still waiting for news on a lot of guys with the Saints who are now free agents. Sharper, Goodwin, D Thomas, Strief, Heath Evans, Hargrove, Charleston, Marvin Mitchell, Nicks (restricted) and others are still out there waiting on deals right now.

Heck, we are still waiting for our top 3 rookie draftees to sign their 4 year deals with the Saints.

I'm thinking we have lost too many players from the SB team a lot of chemistry is gone, Sharper has the glue to keep it together. The question is can he stay healthy down the stretch.

I think you sign him, it will add much needed depth at S and extra depth at CB
