Defensive tackle

Mildly concerned about this position. The loss of Ayodele is bigger than people think.

Hargrove (if he even returns) was pretty invisible last year and Wilkerson is pretty much the same player as Hargrove.

Need a big body to provide Ellis/Rogers with a breather now and then. Wonder if we could get Pat Williams on a 1 year deal....

Agreed

Ayodele improved vastly from his first year to his second year with us, i'm real happy that we've got big Shaun Rogers and the coaches/media have been saying that the guy looks like 350 pounds of muscle, a machine.
I'd still like to get Cullen Jenkins in there, use him in a rotation, that would put any doubts about the position to rest i believe

Agreed on the need for Cullen Jenkins in the Black and Gold this year! Still hoping this happens soon...

yea we do need another tackle. what happened to Mebane and Jenkins. Hargrove is good at relief and just that. Truth is...rogers is coming off an injury and Ellis usually sits out a game or two to nurse something dumb. I agree jack...

Definately agree with this. I don't want anymore runs up the gut for 30 yards.... I'm thinking Jenkins would be the perfect fit.

Shaun Rogers is upgrade (at least in FO mind) of Ayodele...

Wilkerson is DE/Pass Rushing Tackle recovering from severe knee sx...

Cullen Jenkins is a 3-4 DE or 4/3 DE/DT Pass Rush specialist...

We still need another big DT; though Kelly Gregg was wrong side of 30, I'd like to have him in B/G...

Mebane is signed; Ty Warren is now avail...

Maybe we could grab Amobi Okoye? 6-2, 315, already has 4 years of experience as a starter and he's still maturing physically. He's never lived up to his draft billing but I bet he would be good depth.
