The football gods speak No. 2: It was among the most spectacular moments in football annals, the Saints go 75 yards for a touchdown on a play that started with six seconds remaining and included not only three laterals, but fabulous blocking by numerous New Orleans gentlemen. That made it 20-19 with time expired and New Orleans lining up for the conversion. But the previous week, New Orleans players mocked their opponent, the lowly Giants, and the mocking was hardly confined to Joe Horn's cell-phone stunt. When you're only 7-7, mock not the 4-10: there but for a couple of blown coverages go you! When the spectacular multi-lateral play pulled the Saints within 1 at double-zeros, the football gods pushed the PAT wide.
