He probably isn't dominant like Stinch was back in the day, but I don't recall him ever being embarassed by anyone.

And if Brown is finally able to stay healthy and start progressing in his development... Strief might not have a long window of opportunity to show that he can be a starter for the team.

It might be that he's a starter for this season and is either replaced by Brown on the O-Line or with a new FA acquisition during next off-season.

Well, it looked like we had depth for a little while.

He had 2 or 3 false starts Friday night against second and third stringers. I will let him compete we have know choice. I want to see what he's going to do against this 3-4 defense that the Texans run. This should be intersting

Hahaha, he picked that move up from Stinch! All kidding aside, that's the type of mental error that camp and preseason is meant to fix. Now, if he is still jumping off in week 3 and 4 of the preseason, then I will be worried.

Everyone is undefeated until we start playing the games...

While it's preseason, Saints and SaintNation has to be a little disappointed in the poor play (mis-tackles, poor blocking, decision making)...

But you have to wonder who's going to make the team...

The rookie defensive tackle King had a poor mistackle in his gap assingment...

Arrington didn't seem to be all-out on a goal line punt coverage play...

Free Agent Oliver seemed lost in space and on open-field tackles...

Henderson forgot his presence of mind...

Casillas who'd look so good in Week 1 looked lost at times in Week 2...

Will Herring - wow, did he catch the bus?

Will Smith started serving his suspension early?

Jabari Greer did his best impersonation of the Last Airbender...

Well cuts are coming, soon...:dunce:

Chris Ivory, Greg Romeus(r)

- Tackling, Tackling, Tackling

- Injuries and poor performances in Houston exposed our supposed depth

- Do we have Offensive Tackles we need to run and pass protect?!?

- The Houston game really made the depth chart cloudy at best

jeanpierre 08-23-2011 06:56 PM

For now, twenty-four on offense (24), twenty-six on defense (26), and three (3) kicking battery...

I can't see four (4) Tight Ends...

Turk McBride would be the most difficult cut in the above scenario...

Roby is there for now as a punting game gunner; jury's still out...

The poor play in Houston really has things very messy right now...

The only way that would be plausible is without a FB in the roster, but Hall was signed for a reason and has performed well so far.

Excellent Point.

Now, I'm not so sure the Saints don't keep another defensive lineman; but the injuries are going to affect the decision making on cuts this season...

Were we getting too much information in New Orleans?

Seems like things have gotten real quiet...
