He's overrated. Trade him. I say we give Heath Shuler another shot.

WE know what he means to the community & the team...

BUT until he gets the team to multiple SBs he is not going to make Brady, Manning money.

CLOSE - but not quite as much!

I think it'll be a couple of million below Manning an long enough to have him retire a Saint.

More like Bush and Darth Cheney and the voters who put them in office.

This depression started under their watch if you shine honesty on the scenario.
The stock market was actually lower during the bush debacle. (8000)
Remember the 700 point drop during the bush debacle in ONE DAY?

The Tbags held our economy hostage and now your interest rates will go up.
Not your credit card interest rates, however. Your boy Obama & the Dems had those laws changed but you'll pay a stupid tax regardless, Palinista.

And now the reichwingnuts whine about jobs? BUSH sent jobs overseas for EIGHT YEARS, spin doctors.

How come the RW congress hasn't presented ANY JOBS BILLS? none. zero. nada. not one!

The Republicans drove the car in the ditch originally and now they want the keys back. Awesome.

Until sheople start using reality as a barometer, the politricksters will keep winning.

Apportez le bois. Deux cela. Qui est celui?

Okay everyone, let's step down from the soapbox and comment on football, getting a little off topic now. I come here to get away from that crap.

Anyways, back to the real discussion. I say give him what he wants. Of course he's going to ask for an amount over what Manning makes, not because he is greedy, but because that's how you negotiate. You don't walk up to the table and say what you really want, you ask for more. Hell there's always a chance they will give him more. I know a lot of this will be on Brees's agent, but I think Brees will make a deal with the Saints that will allow them to keep building talent around him. He's no dummy, he knows that they're going to need money to keep signing good players. And we all know this guy is a competitor and winning is his number one priority (aside from family and community of course). There is definitely a way for Brees and the Saints to both come out good, so no worries everyone.
