Good advice if you're headed to a game. It's cheeper buying it from the beer guys outside but it's sooooo hot out there! I'm always in a hurry to get inside and into the air conditioning before I melt.

For $8.50 a beer the Sainsations should deliver it to you.

You have to sit in a skybox for that. ;)

That makes sense and explains our lack of timing on pass routes. Drew is used to Meach running those long passes down and he just couldn't get up to speed. I remember the first game after Katrina when they had installed new turf and all the little failcon fans complained that it was intentionally made like that to slow down vick. I remember it breaking in pretty quickly and everything sped up.

Yeah, at times when Meach fell, you could see a little cloud of like...
*dust* puff up behind him. I'm sure they'll have it shipshape by
the regular season.

Beer prices don't bother me cause I don't drank the stuff, and
I'm a chick so I could care less about the Saintsations. But it's
always good to hear a report LIVE! FROM INSIDE THE
SUPERDOME! :bng:

My observations were:

They were unable to get any decent run blocking from the line in 1st team vs 1st team situation. I'm a little disapointed by that. But it is early and the niners did have a good run D last year, so may be nothing big.

The D did look hungry, fast, and they hit hard. But they did this with a lot of blitzing in a preseason game against a very average offense. I hope the front line will provide more pressure without the need for blitzing so much as the season progresses, because not all teams are as inept as the niners.

King stood out to me on the D line. Seems like he had a good motor all night. Again, against the niners backups.

If you are paying $8.50 for a beer at the game, then congrats! You have caught up to what the SF Giants have been charging for the last three seasons. I agree with the group...pre game should contain extra imbibing in order to avoid those fees.

Crud - I cant afford to go to a game - I just listen or watch from home. For 8.50 I can get some Guiness!!

He reminded me of Brian Young, and thats a very good thing, that guy was a hard worker. I also liked big #68, Swanson Miller on the DL. He was in the thick of things a whole lot and I thought he moved well for a big guy. I'm not concerned at all about our DTs. DEs looked decent, Big Will is a beast but whe knew that allready. Galette didn't show anything I thought and I was expecting more from Jordan when he got in the game. Looking forward to see the next game.
