Will Smith Suspension

Is he suspended or not? i cant find anything saying he is for sure.

IDK - No one is saying anything.

The team is expecting it BUT ther league (which has its head showved up its a--, as usual) has not said anything.

There are two trains of thought, one, they will be suspended. The NFL paid a lot of money to pursue them so the likelyhood of them dropping it is slim to none.

The other scenario, the new CBA could be considered a fresh slate or a reset button. I think the NFL just wants to make 100% sure the suspensions can be carried over legally.

I agree the nfl wont drop this one. But that would be so kick ass if the new cba made a loop hole for him.

He is for the first 4 games of the season.

It seems like NFL is trying to penalize the teams as muc as the the players by waiting till last possible second to let them know what to prepare for. It's BS piled on top of the BS that this whole case is to begin with.

What's your source? That was the ruling before the CBA. Did any new drug testing criteria come out of the new CBA?

Crusader 08-19-2011 02:41 PM

It has not been announced yet.

Maverick2299 08-19-2011 09:04 PM

It will be pretty sweet if it just gets dropped

QBREES9 08-19-2011 11:44 PM

This really going to happen ?

"Rodgers goes down! And he's not getting up! How about dem Cowboys!" says Aikmen as he calls the Saints-Packers game from his couch since NBC has the game not FOX.

Is Will the only one of the players involved that's still in the league? I thought the others were going to retire or some such. If that's the case, the NFL should drop the suspension. It's only fair and the right thing to do, IMHO
