I know people are getting tired of the whole "its Pre-season chill out"
But its true, I am happy they played poorly...they now have tape to watch to correct the mistakes, they know they have to work even harder. Whould have liked to come out in pre-season flying, yes. But we came out needing work, that is why pre-season is here. It's not for the fans, its for the players and coaches. The games are not going to be coached the same, played the same, guys are not even going to play there hardiest every down, it gives you room to improve if you are playing bad.

The patriots lost 3 of the pre-season games in 2004...by blowout loses. They won the superbowl.

Good coaches are going to make sure mistakes get fixed.

Your very very right, I dont want them to play like that in pre-season, yes I would like to win a game in pre-season. But the fact remains its practice against another team, its a way to judge where your team is at and what needs work. If they did not air these games they would not keep score, but the NFL decided to put them on tv.

When you play poorly rather you lose or win, you go home watch tape and fix it. I am not half-full. I wanted to win it too, but there is an upside to playing like total ****.....the saints are not ready to face am above average team. Now they know that and its great there hopefully going to get this fixed before the season starts.

I was yelling at the, TV I was not a happy camper, but I understand what pre-season, is a practice game.

and believe me I would really care if it was a regular season game, or the superbowl or the playoffs. But again this is a practice game to see what needs to get fixed and I am happy its still pre-season. But the saints are a good team, they understand when they did not play well, there going to watch tape and work on getting it fixed.

Nah not class, merely an observation. I'm not qualified to be an English teacher. But I did stay in a Holiday Inn express last night!

You can't just turn on fundamentals like a switch. They tried that, it doesn't work. You play like you practice. At this point in these guys careers, you either know how to wrap-and-roll or drive through a runner or you don't. Same foolishness from last year. I'm looking at a bunch of 41-38's.

You are right, teams gonna call plays they need to work on and try to get guys in positions they might not see them in otherwise. In a real game you gonna call your best plays all the time. That is not always the case in the preseason.
