Moore has missed 9 games the last two years.

And now Moore is out with a groin injury.

Oh look, it's Memnoch hating on our receivers again. Devery dropped balls early in his career, but has since rectified that problem. I'd say he's got good hands now.

Devery has had less than five drops in each of the past two seasons... another Saint receiver has made the top 15 most dropped passes in the NFC list two years in a row.

Less than 5 drops last year is great. Too bad it corresponds with career low receptions.

I don't care about number of receptions, average yards per reception is more interesting for a guy like Henderson who is mostly a deep threat.

Ok, well then what about 2009 when he had a career HIGH in receptions and had less than 5 drops?

What about it? I totally gave up on him the year before. He came out in 09 and proved me wrong, and I admitted it. I even changed my anti-Devery signature. Now he has started regressing again, and I have starting wanting him gone again.

That's the great part about being rational. I can change my opinion in response to what is actually going on instead of blindly going "Rah rah rah" like an airheaded cheerleader. I don't understand why I should base my opinion on him off of one season. You get on the Dean's List by making all A's THAT semester. One season of A's doesn't get Devery a lifetime slot on my "Dean's List".

Isn't this the last year of both Henderson and Meachem's contract's? Maybe it's just one of them... Either way, I think it's pretty clear with the onset of Morgan that one of our deep-threat receivers is going to be on the outs.

Devery is a solid #3 who knows our system. He's been that since the day he showed up. Why can we not be happy with what he brings to the table and understand that's his limit? His penchant for drops is lessening. He still has speed to get seperation and now makes some clutch grabs and is a good teammate. I am content with his body of work and the role we need from him.

Colston is our clear #1. Moore emerged as our #2. Meachem has shown a flash and then disappeared and does not seem to show passion or intent to be a factor. To me this is his make or break season because right now he can't get past Devery into the #3 role.

Henderson has made great strides and has become a good WR in the NFL. If we can run the ball just a bit and get a smidge of pass protection he could have a decent to excellent year.
