Mike and Mike are actually more knowledgeable than most in the sports game. I listen to them every morning on my way to work. They are hilarious and don't show a whole lot of bias. Colin Cowherd is entertaining but I just don't like the guy.
Bush is a good player but a bust at the same time. He hasn't impacted the NFL as predicted.

Who are Mike and Mike and why are they relevant?

Greenberg can't see anything past his beloved Jets. The show is almost unwatchable during football season at times due to this. Golic is a nice guy but he uses the fact that he played the game in defense of all his opinions and it's clear that he doesn't put much effort into it. The media as a whole is in love with the Falclowns for some reason and that is what's going to blow up in all their faces.

Mwhh! I don't like them & dont watch them BUT I Know who they are. Golic will pccasionally have relevant hings to say but...

I hate talking heads on the radio - no matter what they are talking about. (i.e. Sport OR Politics!) :doh:

Hell I am heading to work. I dont need to be irritated by 2 knuckleheads :dunce: on the radio when I am about to be irritated by 120 knuckleheads thorughout the day :mrgreen:

This should not be a national air show but a regional Mid-atlantic show...

They are gonna drop to their knees and please the New York-Philly-DC-Baltimore Markets as that is where their trick money comes from...

A mocking bounty should be placed on these guys if they ever show their faces in Saints Nation - no physical harm, no added spice to the etouffe

The only Talking Heads on the radio are the band. "Talking heads" is a TV reference...

And Mike and Mike are on TV and Radio. Therefore they can indeed be referred to as talking heads on the radio.

They could care less what you think about them. They throw out controversial statements just to build ratings. The whole show's main purpose is to plug advertisers there are so many commercials on ESPN it becomes ridiculous. The bottom line is that they are only in it for the money and probably laugh at how much they get paid for what they do.

ESPN radio is mostly a joke. I know of Mike&Mike but never listen to them b/c they are not NFL only. And like someone else already said, its all about ratings for them. Thank goodness there are other and better places to get information and comentary on the NFL , like Sirius.

Saying that we will not get over the loss of Reggie, shows me one thing... They haven't been watching our pre-season games. The Texans game, even in loss, wasn't the O's fault in my opinion, it fell on the defense. Giving up that many yards on the ground, is going to be a losing effort everytime. Ingram is an EXTREME upgrade from Bush. Put him in the mix with Thomas, and Sproles, and we've got one of the best RB tandems in the league. Just wait til Bush goes through his injuries, which he will, and they will see, that losing him, is not that big of a deal. They are looking at Reggie's ps stats, and going from there. If I were a betting man, I would bet you a six pack, that they haven't watched one of our games since pre season began.

No need to apologize. That is a completely proper use of the term and I applaud you for your truthful insights about these two ignorant (_!_)pirates.
