Anyone agree with this about Hartley?
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; if we signed kasey we have a solid kicker. hartley was coming into his own but boy is he snake bit from day one. we will be okay, we'd rather our own in there but we have 1 of the ...

Injury prone and misses a lot of easy clutch kicks. If I'm the Saints, I'd start looking for another young kicker.

He's been suspended. He's been benched. He's been hurt. He's been money in the playoffs and the Super Bowl. With the inactive rules in the NFL, he or that 5th safety, or that extra OLineman, or that extra LB, or that 6th WR would not be active anyway. Keep the young kicker on the 53, unless there's a rash of injuries, and give him a shot to kick this season.
