How old is Harper - his hair is looking a little gray.

If you have been a Saint fan for any amount of time (you'll have gray hair too)

I'm 25 and have a significant amount of gray hair. It's a family tradition. For me, in my career, it's beneficial because people see the silver fox look and assume I'm sage... seems like just the opposite for poor Roman. He takes his helmet off and people think he's over the hill and on the decline!

I noticed it last year, and Im hoping he doesnt have that thing that made
Earl Campbell age prematurely. Plus remember when Rams QB Sam Bradford ran him down after the fumble? nervous.

FinSaint 09-05-2011 04:35 PM

I think that one play has been so exaggerated. Bradford was so much more fresher than Harper, and if someone was to calculate how many yards Harper had already ran during the game combined with his physical plays - or even during that drive - than Bradford, it would become clear that it was not a wonder that Harper couldn't outrun him in the end.

I think that is one point that has been lost in the discussion about that one play.

He was grey his rookie year. Premature grey is apparently proportional to the size of you neck.

So basically a fresh RECEIVER would blow his jersey off going by him.

That can't be good either...

I think it's a well known fact that he's not at his best in coverage - whether it's against a fresh player or not. I would hope that he isn't put in a place where he would have to cover a WR without any help anyways.

Harper is a sledgehammer and more of a linebacker than a defensive back. I think his gray is kinda cool. Makes it look like there's a grandpa out there laying people out.

Im wondering if this was a strategic move for Greenbay to get Sean Paytons and Gregg Williams playbook info..
We've had this happen to us before with Scott Fujita and played us early and we got our asses handed to us unmercifully at 30–17 and we were only 1 of 5 games in 2010 Cleveland Browns won?
