So I'm guessing his comment about re-signing was bs? Anyone know what's going on with this?

I havent seen a report of him signing anywhere else.

Maybe there is something in the works involving Sharper

Please! Please! Please! He was the missing piece from '09. He changes the defense entirely when he's in the game. I know we've got a starter but does it really matter who's called what? When Sharper is fresh down the road he'll be very useful.

I assumed he was going to get picked up by the Patriots with Meriweather leaving. But I think the Saints have kind of moved on. And doesn't it seem like Gregg Williams always knows exactly when to cut someone? Whomever he cuts doesn't seem to land with another team. It's like he has a crystal ball or something.

Notice how several players injured from last season have been cut or traded by the Saints. I personally like Sharper but he was hurt nearly the entire season last year and when he did come back he was out of it. Not being critical but I agree with SaintsRule11, I think we have moved on.
