Roman Harper is often a scapegoat. He's definitely not a bad player, though I agree with some of the sentiments that he struggles in coverage at times. Against Seattle he had a bad game, though I thought the entire secondary as a whole looked rather exposed against them. The thing about secondary is often the people that are really at fault are never pointed at, and the guy that tries to make a play by catching up to some other hole that gets left open is often the dude that gets blamed by people that have no clue what they are talking about. Coverage is a a very very complex thing, and having a guy out of position on one side of the field could end up causing some adjustment that causes a completion on the other side of the field. I'm pretty sure that someone that looks at the defense all day every day (Gregg Williams) knows better than the average fan about who is doing their job and who isn't in the secondary.

He was getting picked on in the GB game though, not sure what corrections need to be made to fix that; though at times his coverage looked good and yet the completion was made anyway. What I was more concerned about was this huge gap that we were having underneath.
