Bears Fan here....

Just want to say im looking forward to the game especially after dismantling ATL, which im sure you guys also enjoyed watching. Watching the Packer game, there is alot riding on Brees. I think this year more will be more up to him. Quite honestly I think it may have something to do with it being the first game, I mean the game would have been close IMO if it was not for that colston turnover. Playcalling on those fouth downs can be argued, but thats just the luck of the draw. They went high flying with a play action and got burned, and then they went conservative and got burned, not to mention playing from behind adds to the chaos.

For us, Bears looked outstanding especially the Dline. This will come down to whether or not your Oline will be able to hold them back, which is possible. Atlanta does have some Oline issues. Mistakes are going to happen it is just going to be who makes it first. Ryan made the first mistake on sunday as Urlacher got that pick and it all went down hill from there. Other than that, hopefully everyone stays healthy and heres to looking forward to a great sunday.

welcome to the board...heres to a good game...i think that the BEARS will find the SAINTS much more competitive that the FAL-CONS...Matt Ryan is NO DREW BREES

Marlboro Man 09-13-2011 06:16 PM

I thought your guys could have hit Ryan harder than you did though.

Saints fans and some players still remember those ugly signs from Bears fans in that NFCCG in your house ... those signs referencing Katrina etc ... Welcome to our house, this time! Here's to a Saints win! btw ... the Falcan't are overrated anyway.

strato 09-13-2011 06:56 PM

ya those idiots always exist somewhere... Its going to be tough in the dome, but Bears also had a better record on the road last year.

strato 09-13-2011 06:59 PM

And this moron...payback time!...im sure Drew is going to light them up!http://www.faniq.com/images/blog/b07...52a5deac3a.bmp

Welcome to the best team board on the internet. Here's to both teams coming out healthy - and to a Saints win of course.

homerj07 09-13-2011 07:12 PM

Cutler can be streaky as a QB ... real good and real bad too.... but he's no Brees, not even remotely close. Any chance your team is in the Andrew Luck Sweepstakes?

 To a good clean game.

Just wanted to say... to the non-existent blitzing last week against the Packers, expect to see the polar opposite against the Bears. Let's see if Cutler is up to the challenge.

Cutler has a couple aspects to his favor. The guy is bigger and more mobile. Yes Brees has a much better resume to this point, but I would not go anywhere near to being in the Luck sweepstakes:)

Good point ..he knows your D inside and out ...thanks...:p

|Mitch| 09-13-2011 07:40 PM

that's okay; we have Brees, makes all our o-line look like pro-bowlers...

Unlike Cutler who runs for his life and makes terrible decisions most of the time. One of the most inconsistent quarterbacks, I've ever seen...

strato 09-13-2011 07:40 PM

I see Jimmy Graham feasting on that outdated Tampon 2 they run...Drew should have a good game.

AlaskaSaints 09-13-2011 07:41 PM

And yes, former players DO regurgitate the playbook upon arrival... We learned that last year from the Browns. (Bell and Fujita)

Alaska

didnt you guy run a version of it when you went to the super bowl? Plus there is no secret to the tampa 2. the only way Grahm gets the ball is if the front 4 can not get to brees, and thats the concept. I have to say the "tampa 2" use is way over blown and you only here about it when it gets exposed. Bears have had a decent defense year in and out.

|Mitch| 09-13-2011 07:51 PM

don't forget PT/Sproles/Ingram catching those screens; gonna shut down the Bears blitzing game. And that's the only way that they will get any pressure on Drew...

And unlike Cutler, he knows how to step up in the pocket and avoid the rush

Belair57 09-13-2011 07:52 PM

Its going to be tough no matter how it plays out. With that being said,I hope we ground and pound da bears. Not a fan of your fans either...but welcome to our board

Good point .. Sproles is much better than Reggie ... plus the Saints won't be slipping on a  suddenly re-soded filed like in the NFCCG ...

I appreciate it... So far this has been a pretty classy board. I signed up in Atlanta last week and out of the last 6 years or so I have been doing this, The falcons board was the worst I have ever been on by far. keep it up:)

It depends upon the boards. I do as you and visit all around the league. Try atlantafalconstalk.com. It's a classy board and one of my favorites in the league ... despite their misguided allegiance.

As the game gets closer is when we tend to trash the Bozos.

It'd be worth it. I have met many an opposing fan in line to get into Mother's, down from the Dome on Poydras for some awesome comfort food, that talked about the great time they had even given their team's loss. New Orleans is an experience, especially on game day.

exiled 09-13-2011 09:53 PM

As far a world class vacations go NOLA is pretty darned cheap.

Fans who can afford to go to ONE away game - see NOLA on the schedule - its a no brainer. Greatest city in America. One of the primary reasons we were able to keep a franchise during the paper bag days is away teams would want to come to see her. and who can blame them despite their "misguided" athletic allegiances.

B_Dub_Saint 09-13-2011 10:27 PM

I have a feeling we are gonna crush the Bears. Its F'in payback time. Those Katrina signs really pissed me off and I just want to see our boys steamroll them in our house. Ill be makin some noise in the terrace.
