Somebody please tell me where the fascination with Nick Saban comes from. I can’t for the life of me figure it out.

The Falcons passed on the LSU coach to go after Jim Mora, and some of the team’s fans complained that the Falcons had let one get away. The Bears might have had the best shot at Saban, and when Saban turned the team down due to money or power issues — it’s up to you who to believe — the Chicago media and fans complained that the Bears let the big one get away.

Never mind that Jim Mora is considered one of the best young minds in the game. Never mind that the same goes for Lovie Smith, the Bears’ new head man, who has been a coach at almost every level and has paid his dues. People were stuck on Saban, and I can’t figure out why.....(continued at the link)
