The Keys to a win vs Chicago Bears

Here's what i think are the main objectives we need to do in order to get a win vs Chicago Bears.

1. DON'T EVER, EVER, EVER kick the ball to Devin Hester, I used to think it was due to good blocking that he used to return punts week in and week out, but I've seen all his returns and he seriously just needs a little gap. We made the mistake of kicking to him in 2007, he ran it straight back.

2. - Stop Matt Forte constantly, Shaun Rogers and Aubrayo Franklin need to get a great push. Occupy the double teams and let the LB's come through to make the play, we can't let forte establish a steady running game because it will be tough to stop if he does.

2.a - This is a no-brainer, force the bears to commit to the pass by getting a good lead early and making them fall behind. Put the ball in Cutlers hand and i promise you, he will try to force a pass that he shouldn't, we need to take advantage of this opportunity when he does!

3. Lastly, this one is for Coach Payton - Commit to the Run game, we have 3 pro bowlers in the backfield as well as 3 Pro Bowlers upfront on the offensive line. Use them!
This will open up the passing game so Drew can be aggressive and take shots downfield, it will also give him a hell of a lot of time in the backfield!!

I agree with all of them Dizzle.
No turnovers...on our part...2 or 3 take-aways would do just fine.
We got man handled up front on both sides of the ball last week. That needs to change.
PT as number1 with Ingram in relief, and not the other way around.
It looks like Ingram (like Reggie) still needs to learn the NFL cut-back.
He's no longer a man among boys and what worked at the college level, may only work at the college level.
PT, at this time, seems to have better eyes but I have no doubt that Ingram will soon get his focus, and more clearly see the field.

Great point. As expected last week Pierre was around 5 yards per carry with Ingram at 3. Pierre is our best back and we need to utilize him more.

We have to contain Forte on the edges. Our LBs have been awful about letting RBs bounce outside and if we can't do that this week Forte is going to eat us alive.

I can't even remember how many times we let the Pack get away and turn what should have been a 3rd-and-8 into a 3rd-and-1. Those two scenerios are whole lot different on both sides of the ball. Wrap-and-roll! We have the advantage when we actually make the tackles that keep them in 3rd-and-long.

I think the most important aspect will be us being able to get pressure without blitzing, and we HAVE to start forcing turnovers.
