I think we should go back to those uni's all the time. I love the old gold against the black.

The key words in your post are "old gold", which does look very good with black. The throwback pants worn against the Texans were more of a mustard gold color, which is not accurate for our early unis. The pic on the '67 issue of SI of Jim Taylor and Gary Cuozzo show the true old gold color. If they will get the right color pants for the next time we do the throwbacks, the jerseys will look much better with them.

I still like these old jerseys.

I agree with the PP who stated why celebrate a time when we sucked. I liked the tops of the jerseys, but the piss yellow pants were atrocious. I think the throwbacks should be a special occasion thing, and only if we're winning when we wear them.
