Between him and Loomis we have one of the best administration in the NFL. I agree, he knows football talent when he sees it.

If he has such a great eye for talent, then why didn't he know that he sucked as an NFL QB...

That has to be the reason. Maybe they thought that everyone else on their board would be available via the UDFA route.

And oh yea, Punter IS the least important position on the team, with the possible exception of the long snapper, and thats debatable. I'd rank Kicker higher than Punter, as well as Fullback. Punter is the least drafted postion in the entire NFL. And with the exception of Green Bay in 2003(?), every team that picked one this century had all their picks, and most had extra.
