Jacksonville, Fla. - It's time to stop talking about Jimmy Graham's potential and start acknowledging his arrival. The future for the New Orleans Saints' second-year tight end is now. Right before our eyes he is blossoming into a bona-fide star.

If the NFL didn't know Graham's name after his 100-yard game against the Texans they undoubtedly do after his breakout performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Graham's 10-catch, 132-yard manifesto not only sent the Saints to their third consecutive victory, it sent reporters scrambling to the record books.
It's been a long time since a Saints tight end had as prolific a day. His career-high catch and yardage totals ranked among the best efforts in club history. In fact, only one Saints tight end has ever had a more productive day, and that came 31 years ago when Henry Childs had 144 yards in a 38-35 loss to the 49ers on Dec. 7, 1980.
It's been even longer since a Saints tight end recorded consecutive 100-yard receiving games. The only other time it was accomplished was 1979, when Childs had 121- and 117-yard games against the Seahawks and Falcons.

New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham is a star - New Orleans Saints Football NFL News - NOLA.com

- This is all Sean Payton's Creation.. he developed this kid to what he is.. from a Basketball star to a Football player that was rugged and now shattering records long held by our Ball club and NFL wide now.. Amazing kid..

He's essentially a New Orleans Saints Project player. - Sean: We built this BEAST!

Young red head tike with a dream of becoming a College Basketball Star (to get chicks), .... First year he sucks.... Finally gets a haircut.. basketball skills accelerate in one year......
Graham become important to his College Basketball team...

Graham Decides he wants to try football out now. In a Short period of time Graham picks up Football like he's always been playing and become a vital part of helping his team win a Championship.

Shortly after he graduates...

He tries out for the NFL drafts.

Sean Payton apparently see's something other team coaches ignore because they see flashy other players....

Saints Snag a Former Basketball Player with little Football Experience?.. huh? who's this guy? ........

Graham was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft, with the 95th overall selection. He signed a four-year 2.445 million dollar contract on July 28, 2010.
In a Week 9 game at Carolina, his first NFL game in his home state, Graham made a 19-yard touchdown catch to score his first NFL touchdown, contributing to a 34-3 Saints rout.

A year later.. Good bye from Shockey.. Saints shock the fan-base and let Shockey shop himself around..
(Good luck kid)....

Graham is now.. THE ONE.. but he doesn't fully grasp what he is or about to be to the Saints and his growing fan-base quite yet.
. .......

Today.. He's shattering records:

ESPN Tight End Football Ranking
1 Rob Gronkowski
2 Jermichael Finley
3 Jason Witten
4 Jimmy Graham
5 Vernon Davis
6 Owen Daniels
7 Dustin Keller

Still Gullible and shocked when people tell him his ranking as if he really never cared to look at them.. This guy is going to be something great.
WHO DAT..

Just thought i'd put something together along with Nola.com contributed story.
