The next two weeks are obviously critical, as they are intra-division matchups. Win both of these on the road, and the team will have the division lead, and be sitting pretty, having won the first two division games away from home.

That will mean: of the rest of the division schedule, 3 of the 4 remaining games will be AT HOME. Of the rest of the regular season schedule, 6 of the remaining 10 games will be at home, including the final two games of the season (Atlanta and Carolina).

In short, winning @Carolina and @Tampa Bay will set the team up nicely for the remainder of the schedule. They will have their fate in their own hands, and will just have to keep winning.
Right on. Its a long season and all we can do is worry about the next game. Our defense is also to Jekyle and Hyde for me to predict anything beyond next week.

@ Panthers-should win, but in divisional play all bets are off and its anyones game. Panthers offense would shred the defense that played the Pack or Texans.

@ Bucs-should win, but Tampa finds a way to win. Again divisional play and anything can happen. We beat them twice the year they won the Super Bowl

Colts (Sunday Night Game)- This one is about the safest bet to call a win.

@ Rams-Should be a safe bet, but they have sucked balls the last few years and still have given us major problems.

Bucs- We will be at home so I like our chances, but how healthy are we at this point?

@ Atlanta-Oh to hell with these *******s.

@Panthers: could play out like a bit of a trap game. Cam Newton is very dangerous, but I think the Saints take it 31 - 20
@Bucs: Josh Freeman is likewise dangerous. I'm not sure about this, but we always seem to split games with the Bucs so I'm gonna say, Bucs win 24-20
Colts: Saints win 954 to 0.
@Rams: Saints win 953 to 0.
Bucs: Saints take it down 38-24.
@Atlanta: Hmmmm..... I think we might split games with the Falcons and they seem to have found their rhythm. But I hate the Falcons and am not ready to admit they could beat us yet so, I say a repeat of last year: Saints win 17-14.

We enter the bye week 8-2. That would be awesome actually considering the toughness of our schedule.

The worst thing a team can do is look ahead or look past a team. Heck, look at all the large second half collapses and comebacks this season in the league. As fans it's cool and fun. Especially when there's the real possibility of a special season out there.

My point is that I'll be disappointed if we don't win every one of those games. Think we should, and need to... there are some good football teams in the NFC.

Yes, every game is quite winnable but this is the NFL and any of those teams can put an asswhoopin on you if you don't play well.

6-0 is possible, but 5-1 or even 4-2 is probably more likely. That puts us at 8-2 or 7-3 at the bye, which is sitting pretty.

we can't look ahead, one game at a time BUT, GOING ON A 6-0 RUN IS VERY POSSIBLE.AND I'M GOING VERY POSSIBLE. WE ARE GETTING BETTER ON OFENSE AND DEFENSE. even if other teams are getting better we should stay ahead in the talent part. but like someone says any given sunday. awe stay focused, we're going on that run specified.
