Interesting question

Would You Trade Ivory for Depth on Defense

73Saint 10-04-2011 12:39 PM

I think the point made in the comment below the article, about not being trade material due to the week six deadline taking place before he is eligible, makes the conversation moot.

Am I right or wrong?

WhoDat!656 10-04-2011 12:43 PM

I think you are right

Still, if it was possible, I wouldn't like to see it happen.

But, naturally it would depend on who the Saints would get in return.

I sure did like what I saw in Ivory, but even though he is currently healthy, only time will tell if he stays that way. He has a checkered history when it comes to staying healthy...

If I was calling the shots, there is no way in the world I would trade Ivory. Right now the Saints are fortunate to have healthy running backs, one game can change that quick.

Our best RB..i don't think so..wait till he comes back and runs all over people..this thread will be in the bin..

i would if we could get a LB out the deal. id rather see sh!tle replaced than see ivory

Danno 10-04-2011 03:28 PM

I wonder how much a team would be willing to give up for a RB that had injury problems in High School, injury problems in College and hasn't made it through one NFL game without getting hurt, and even injured himself while rehabbing an injury?

There's no linebacker worth Ivory on the market right now.

Offense has been winning our games. I don't like it like that, but...

Hell no is my answer.
