What kind of loyalty would Shockey really have?

Remember a former Saints named Fujita?

He told the Browns how to light the Saints up like a Christmas tree and he practiced AGAINST Brees.

Shockey play WITH Brees his time with the Saints.

Kasay won't be too much help with offensive game planning. New HC, new OC, and a new QB from last year. He doesn't have the intel we need.

Kasey should certainly be comfortable kicking on their field. If it comes down to a field goal to win it, how sweet for him (if he makes it). I used to hate seeing Morton heading on to the field against us, $$$.

I don't think a kicker really gets involved in too much else besides kicking. While the others are practicing, they are usually off by themselves just kicking. I would be surprised if he has any info that could benefit the Saints. Making a crucial kick would probably be where he will be more of a key concern.

Shockey will tell them whatever he can to help, but I have faith in Payton to know what Shockey knows and to make some sort of adjustment to confuse them.

I think our biggest concern today is once again trying not to let a rookie QB beat us.

Whether you think you can or think you can't...you're right!
