SAINTS ON TOP OF SOUTH

Well if all goes well SF is ahead of Tampa 24-3 and The D. Birds have to wrestle with The Pack tonight hopefully both South teams go down. That leaves The Saints at the top of the division and maybe a momentum swing. The Carolina game today was a huge win taking in consideration how close it was.

spkb25 10-09-2011 05:03 PM

Its a blowout, Saints lead division. That makes next weeks game all the more important.

AlaskaSaints 10-09-2011 06:02 PM

San Fran is disrespecting Tampa Bay. And San Fran aint all that.

Next week we will struggle to put them away, just like always. Then thump our chests and talk about our march to the division title and then the superbowl.

I'm ready to have a game like San Fran is having, but I honestly don't think we're capable of doing anything but struggling to a win.

It JUST DOES NOT EQUATE.

Lets hope we have an easier time against the TB Sucs next week.

|Mitch| 10-09-2011 06:24 PM

They may be without Gerald McCoy next week, that can only help...

QBREES9 10-09-2011 06:27 PM

Two many dumb Penalties by the Defense. They need to fix that. Lets go beat Tampa.

spkb25 10-09-2011 06:29 PM

Love it!

Tampa may be a little tougher, but maybe we want get all the b.s. call on us like we did today. I like our chances against Tampa next week better than today. Our DE's should be good against the Bucs. We win next week it will be hard for the rest of the division to play catch-up. I think overall we look good, defense playing just good enough to win. I'll take it.

QBREES9 10-09-2011 06:44 PM

Tampa didn't look to good today. The 49ers. WOW !

RailBoss 10-09-2011 07:37 PM

As bad as SF beat The Bucs it is no barometer for our game against them. The Division games in the South are played like blood matches it's just the way it is.

FireVenturi 10-09-2011 08:52 PM

If we can get the Packers to wake up in the second half and beat the Falcons....that would be awesome!!!

Belair57 10-09-2011 09:22 PM

What is going on with the pack right now? they look like steaming poo!!!

Belair57 10-09-2011 09:22 PM

where is the 5 wide they ran all night on us? the falcons are NOT this good..

pumpkindriver 10-09-2011 10:22 PM

They woke up!!! They have an 8 point lead and Mattie Ice Cream just threw a pick and GB is driving.

Saintswrath 10-09-2011 11:11 PM

Tampa will try and beat us on the ground where everyone know's were' weak.
They have bruisers Blount and Graham who could make a fool out of a delicate corn flake tackling Defenses like our's. Not to mention Freeman can become a rusher at will and run like Micheal Turner.
We're going to have a tough game.. Morris will have his team ready to regroup and collect their thoughts and take a much needed division win, their coach feels as long as they win Division games they'll get into the Playoffs, he's said it before and he'll use that in the locker room to rally his boys.

Saintswrath 10-09-2011 11:14 PM

As of right now Saints sit all alone while other teams are watching our throne..

Tell that to the broadcasters...

I think Blount got his knee jacked up. That could help.

I'm starting to think you are a troll disguised as a Saints fan.

It's frustrating for sure, but in the end it doesn't matter how the Ws come just as long as they're coming. And some might say that struggling can build character and bring the team closer as an unit... just look at GB last year with their injuries.

While it would be nice to butcher every single opponent... that doesn't always equate to a SB at the end of the season. Just ask the 16-0 Patriots of '07 how nice it was to be the king of the regular season only to be denied in the playoffs.

San Fran has more talent than people realized, they just haven't had a coach who could keep his pants on and coach till now...

They have as good a linebacking corps there is in the league and now have some outside weapons to keep teams from staying 10 in the box...
