Bad performances all around...
Turnovers!
Missed tackles!
Horrible run blocking by the O line!
And yes, even Poor officiating!

This game was a disaster in almost ever phase.
And, yet, they still had a shot to win it at the end. The Saints are a good team, with lots of talent, but they sure as hell need to execute better.

One could argue that Williams did a great job at keeping the game within reach yesterday.
Good points but... its the DC fault.

They also said they had the best roster they have had since being with the Saints. I don't see that myself just like you pointed out. Why didn't they keep Sharper???

I am not calling out our D for one week of play I am calling them out for 6-7 weeks of this crap.

I'm just calling it how I see it.

Why isn't Sharper on anyone's roster right now? Ask yourself that.

I'm willing to bet if he could actually pass a physical right now, he'd be on someone's roster. He's about to be 36 years old and had knee surgery during the offseason. I'm sure we all can put two and two together.

If I tell you we won't win another Super Bowl with Greg Williams as DC, would you say lets move on and get someone else?

Not saying that just yet because there is hope we we can get someone in to assist in teaching our players how to tackle, how to play D and "bend don't break mentality". Wait wasn't that the plan when Gibbs was here hmmm.

We shouldn't depend on our offense being so perfect, putting up 400 yards passing each week and 50 points each week to win. There are other players on this team and coaches who are getting paid good money to do something other than filling a roster spot.

I can go out there on D and give you 50 percent until it counts! I can let a team hang around and hope Brees win it for us. Geez that is easy...
If Brees makes a mistake we have others to help make it up... WE DON'T.

Maybe so Papz..but we sure could use his exp back there...last i read he was fine and ready to go...he just makes plays..sometimes just being smart makes up for being a physical specimen..our CBs have looked horrible without him getting them in position...just a thought i think we have to look at..kinda like if we lose Vilma..that exp is invaluable .

I agree. We could use his experience back there and I think he'd be extremely helpful putting opinions in Jenkins/Harper's ear. I just don't believe with what he's been through and his age, that he'd be helpful on the field. I'd love to have him here as some sort of player coach.

No because it's just an opinion and you can't forecast the future. What I do know is that Payton and Loomis have faith in him and because of it, I do too. Afterall, it did win us a Superbowl.

I can agree with most of these points. Still, I'm not even close of jumping ship. The track record and results have been there. I'm more concerned about turning the ball over than our defense. You lose the turnover battle, you lose the game. Fact. It's actually quite surprising and commendable that our defense didn't give up 40 given how bad they played leading some to believe... there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Only one of the INTs was Drews fault..PT coughed it up on the other...but still you cant win like that..

D was no worse yesterday than they have been all year. Front four gets no pressure. So we split with Tampa, still win the division, and looks like have to go to Green Bay in January. If the D does not improve through the rest of the season, our post-season will be short lived.
