Its time... FIRE GREG WILLIAMS

Yeah there you go I said it.

Look he is over-rated and can't teach the very basics of tackling and how to play sound defense. And has us damn near playing like cheap thugs on D. Anyone of us could call up a blitz every other down.

How about coaching the team up on fundamentals... the very basics and put that into the weekly plan. And oh yeah figure out a way to get over your pride and get Sharper back either as a player or coach!

We kept Gibbs around 2 years longer than we should have lets at least learn from that mistake.

This off season Payton should fire him and move on from him and go get someone else to coach our next round of draft picks we are going to spend on D again.

No not yet buddy...lets see how we look in 3 weeks..we could be sitting at 7 and 2...i think he gets a pass..4 TOs killed us yesterday..we made some stops when we had to..but didnt do anything on offense..If you were going to fire someone it would have to be the whole team ..minus John Kasey..Thats why i always say one game at a time ..this looking ten game down the road is BS...just look at yesterday....again ONEGAME at a time ..Lets see how we do next week ..Our O-line coach is just as much at fault to me...

What happened? Did he read a power ranking?

Stops when we had to???

We needed to make 2 more stops are you kidding. This isn't just a one week issues this issue has been going on since last year and was a sore thump in last years play off lost to Seattle of all teams.

You got until the off season but I just don't see the turn around is going to happen if they don't get someone in who can teach them how to tie their shoe laces. Teach them what a wet paper beg is and how to tackle it.

Out offense didn't have a great day but they aren't the problem so much as the D is.

Definitely an over reaction but I can understand the frustration behind it and the points behind it. The defense has been trending downward but there wasn't an offseason and there has been quite a few new parts in and out of our front 7. It doesn't help our offense is turning the ball over and putting our defense in bad positions either. We just ripped off a 4 game winning streak and standing at 4-2. No need to jump off the Williams ship... he's done plenty good for us and we'll turn things around.

I do want to say... we have some terrible zone coverages. Turrible... just turrible.

We gave the O the ball back to win..what happened a TO..yeah we had a chance..bad game by all bro...if the D cant get it done and we miss the playoffs..then this is a valid argument

G.W cant make tackles..or play coverage...I saw guys whiffing on tackles...they should know how to do that on their own..I still think a lot of it is personnel not playing up to their potential. He calls a blitz and we cant get to the QB..guys dropping sure INTs...

Euphoria 10-17-2011 08:30 AM

Ok lets blame the offense...

Lets let Bree's go this offseason for the INT's. Give me a break.

What has our Defense done for us? NADA.

Danno 10-17-2011 08:31 AM

While the defense played bad, they only gave up 6 points in the 2nd half.

The offense was equally to blame in ths one, specifically the O-line.

Dude the saints had 3 turnovers, that gave a short field. The D is not great but they did hold the bucs to field goals in the second half.

What you should be talking about is the offense and its 4 trips inside the red zone and only coming away with 1 touchdown....1!

Euphoria 10-17-2011 08:32 AM

Sorry out Defense has had 6 bad games in the last 7 going back to Seattle last year and I am giving you the second half of the Chicago game.
