Should Kreutz be benched?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; We played a good Tampa D....but while Kreutz was out for the saints. The Saints ran the ball better. Even when he went out against the Texans we started to run it better. Just a thought....

You call Drew being the 2nd leading rusher for the team as running the ball better? I think the offense and defense need to swap sides of the ball...wouldn't hurt.

Yes, De La Puenta should have started yesterday. Kreutz was a patch. D.L.P. is a new tire.

You might be on to something here .... wasn't Kreutz part of the O-Line in Chicago which allowed umpteen sacks on Cutler?

Kreutz was an under sized over achiever for most of his time in Chicago. Now he's just an under achiever. I thought de la Puenta did a much better job and was hoping Kreutz would have to earn back his spot. He may have lost it this week.

Kruetz deserves to be benched as much as Evans and Nicks. Our interior line was dominated. There's plenty of blame to go around.

We have been having issues running the ball all year long. I believe it is the biggest issue for Drew. Just my opinion. We can't even keep defenses honest with that pathetic excuse for a run game. And hey, heres an idea- maybe run something beside off guard once and a while?
