Hollywood feelin' like a smoke?

Cause he sounds kinda 'cancerous' to me.

Anybody wanna place odds on Joe gettin' shipped out o' town this offseason?

Quote:

"I knew what kind of guy Jake was two months after I got here," Joe Horn, the Saints' star receiver, said this week. "He was a leader. Leaders are born, man.

"I don't care how many classes you take. They can't teach you how to be a leader."

He's right. You can learn Spanish. You can learn how to cook. You can learn good table manners. But you can't learn leadership.

Horn emphasized that he wasn't criticizing Brooks. I'm not here to bash Brooks either. I'm here to bash the man responsible for denying Delhomme a chance to start with the Saints.

Forget about Brooks' chronic fumbling. It was coach Jim Haslett who dropped the ball.

This being said in the hometown newspaper for Brooks is not going to sit well with BEAT.

Because it\'s true.

Yes, it is.

The Saints would have been better off with Jake.
Hmmm , the great Jake Delhomme conspiracy is looking more and more like truth ... ;)

Oh, well. The Saints can take pride in knowing they had a homegrown Louisiana quarterback who made it to the Super Bowl. It might be the closest they ever get.

. . . . . . .

Let us not forget the 4 rings for Louisiana born Terry Bradshaw.

Wow - sounds to me like the PLAYERS are saying the same thing 08 and I (and many others) have been saying. Billy, didn\'t you always say that you would trust THE PLAYERS AND COACHES more than us. Uh-oh.

So does Horn get labeled a cancer and shipped out b/c he\'s man enough to say the same thing a LOT of other people are saying (including Turley lest we not forget), or do the Saints wise up and find a LEADER at QB?

WhoDat,

I can see it now.
Haslett announces, \"Horn is a locker room cancerr and over-rated. He hardly produced at all this season. We need to just release him rather than try to trade him and get value.\"
:casstet:

Even though, if Joe has to go, what does everyone think he\'s worth in the upcoming draft?

\"Joe Horn isn\'t a team player. Clearly he is putting himself ahead of the team - and by team, I of course mean Aaron Brooks, who, by the way, I have recently adopted as my son.\" - Jim Haslett
