I was thinking the same. My best guess is they will probably promote a lineman from the practice squad, we shall see...

We need linemen who can block. Leave ivory on the bench. Why make more problems when we already have 5 healthy rbs.

Where are these lineman?...if they are on the squad get em out there..im thinking Ivory dont need em..lol

We have a roster exemption for Ivory so there's no hurry to activate him.

We'd be wise to bring in some O-line insurance instead of activating a RB that we don't need.

Is O'hara still out there?..who could we bring into help?

Give Ivory time to heal up, Payton already has enough trouble getting 3 backs the ball, you want to add another. Bring him back slowly and then come playoff time .... UNLEASH THE BEAST

I'm undecided. However, the way Ivory ran last year, there shouldn't be any talk of this "we already have 3 backs" stuff. Ivory would run the ball, Sproles would catch the ball, and Ingram and PT would learn how to crush people.

My guess is Mickey has a list of available players they like at every position. His list likely includes some young players we've never heard of and some veterans we've totally forgot about.

Tennant may be forced to grow up quicker than originally planned.

I hope not......there is a reason he's still on the bench.:rolleyes:

This has made national news. Bring back Ivory to counter punch it in the face. New starting center and a healthy Chris Ivory. I can't think of a better way to jump start the O line.

I agree Beast! Ivory runs for 84 yards..Ingram 47...P.T 64..Sproles 40..and 1 punt return for a TD...Drew has 279 passing but we win 41 to 20..and our O-line gets their ass in gear the rest of the season!..hey i can dream ...:)

Kruetz was not impressive at all to me...maybe thats why the BEARS let him walk

Ok, time to snuff this out permanently.

We have 5 healthy backs on the squad. We line up using at most 2 of them 20% of the offensive snaps.

We have 7 healthyish linemen. We line up using 5 100% of the snaps. We've already had 2 of these linemen miss 4 games, which means no depth.

Stop it. We pick up a lineman. Period.

I am well aware of that..and six games in we should have our running game established..now with the shuffling of the O-Line ..it might be good to let Chris get a groove going..Ingram seems timid and green ..P.T {cough} is really good at screens we all know that...Sproles is weapon like Reggie wanted to be..that leaves room for a power back..but hey we will let the coaches decide..

I thought the hurry was there was a time limit to bring hiom back from PUP. I could be wrong only asking!

Here's the skinny...

6 weeks on PUP-can't practice with team.

Then you have 3 weeks to evaluate him and decide whether or not to let him start practicing with the team.

After he starts his 1st practice, you have 3 more weeks before you have to activate him to the 53 man squad, or IR him for the rest of the season
