Brees to be named NFC Player of the Week

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees will be named NFC Offensive Player of the Week - New Orleans Saints Football NFL News - NOLA.com

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees will be named the NFC's Offensive Player of the Week on Wednesday. He completed 31 of 35 passes for 325 yards and five touchdowns in Sunday night's 62-7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.

This is the first time Brees has won the honor this season, but it's the 11th time he's been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week since he joined the Saints in 2006.

A well deserved honor!

Duh!! Of course. & how did he not get a perfect rating?

THE MAN HAD MORE TDs THAN INCOMPLETIONS

It has to do with how the formula for calculating the rating is set up. I believe in this case it has to do with average yardage per completion.

Maybe it had something to do with the two sacks he took. I wish they had left him in for another 350 yard game. Especially since all we did was run in the fourth quarter.
