Just came home and got the mail, and there was a very nice Thank You note from Sean Payton for the get well card I sent last week. Bless his heart, looks like he signed with a black Sharpie.....betting his hand is worn out!

Thanks, y'all! I was hoping some of you guys had gotten one, too (note from Sean). Last week I know Smashmouth and I had both mentioned getting cards to him, and I thot it would be neat to put pics of yourself, family, etc. in Saints gear or at a game or something in the card, too, so that is what I did. I doubt it's too late to send them, though!!!

After Coach P got hurt, my wife asked about him everyday. We are in the process (well, my wife is in the process) of having our 3rd child. She has desided weather it is a boy or a girl the name will be:

Boy: Payton Reese
Girl: Payton Reece

On a side note about Coach P.

When we were getting ready to deploy this last time I sent a letter to Drew and to the FO telling them alot of us were Saints fans and if they could send our battalion an autographed "Promo" card for the troops.

Well, as you already know. Coach P sent us a nummber photo of the dome on the re-opening day against Atlanta, with his signature and his prayers for us. Drew also sent one. We were to say the least....shocked at the 3ft long photo.

We are lucky to have the type of players and coaches that we have. They are what we call in Mississippi; "Good Peoples"!

Very nice..I know my heart sank when they said the severity of his injury.I made a thread wishing him well..i hope he recovers 100%..they have the best doctors money can buy..I just hope it doesn't effect how long he can coach..want him to retire here after our dynasty run.:)
