Rodgers or Brees
 

Who would you rather have Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees? In my opinion I would take Aaron Rodgers but I want to here yours.

Silly question: Brees, with out a doubt.................. That has to be one of the dumbest questions I personally have ever been ask, and it offends, "I'M NOT SORRY".

Lets see Rodgers come back from a major injury like Brees did

I'm trying to remain as unbiased as possible(though that's a hard thing to do).

I actually believe that Drew Brees is the best player and best pure passer in the NFL. I'm not trying to take a swing at our team, but I think that some of the other QBs(Rodgers, Brady) are on more complete teams than Brees is(this isn't to say better as there are areas of our team that we just excel at beyond anyone else). A lot of the mistakes Brees gets credited with is usually when he's trying to make something happen to rectify some of the problems we have. There isn't a more accurate passer in the league, as there are throws he makes that nobody else can make. There also isn't a QB in the league with better pocket awareness and knowing defenses. I really think he gets the shaft with most analysts on how good he is.

How are Rodgers and Brady onmore complete teams?

Do either of them have either a. the # of RBs the Saints have or, b. the quality of RBs the Saints do?

Do either of them have either a. the # of WRs the Saints have, or b. the quality of WRs the Saints have?

What about TEs, or O-Line.

I don't hear of many players wanting to go to either the Packers or Patriots for less money like some have to the Saints.

I would pick Drew in a heart beat both on and off the field performances.. Best passer in the league..

It was getting old hearing Manning or Brady. Now I'm getting tired of hearing Brady or Rodgers...
I think Brees is a better QB but somehow doesn't get the same attention. Just mho

Being supremely better in certain aspects of your game doesn't make the team complete. We do however have had some holes in certain areas(mainly the defense) that have been exploited. I'm not saying we are better or worse than the Packers or the Patriots, that isn't the point I'm trying to make(as I'd love to have the opportunity to see us play both of them). I'm just saying we have some kinks we are working out in some areas that have led to us having to alter our offensive gameplan.

In real life or fantasy??

In real life - Drew. His leadership skills, on the field presence, his demeenor, his service to the community, etc.

Rogers is a brash fukstick & I hate that in any player (Graham comes a little close to jackass sometimes)

In fantasy I would barely give the nod to ROgers because Drew can/does throw a few more ints (BUT - In 4 leagues I have Drew in 2 of them)

Its a loaded question because its not about the QB's! Its about who and what you put around them. Rodgers is great an elite QB. Rodgers played for the Saints I don't think we'd have that many wins as we do now. This team is all Brees. Rodgers wouldn't fit the locker room.

I'd take Rogers because he is younger and I can get 6 more good years out of him? Brees what 2 more left?

Rogers is riding the hype wagon right now. He didn't look so great vs the Vikes to me.
Besides you would be silly to take Rogers over Brees. Rogers only has 1 SB like Brees but Brees started on a crapy Chargers team and brought them to a playoff. Rogers started on a playoff caliber team.
Plus Brees QB accomplishment make Rogers look like a 2nd string QB on the leaders boards. In Fact Brees holds more records than Manning, and is a lot more accurate, better leader, and more intelligent than Rogers. Brees all the way.

Rodgers is incredible and may be the best QB in the league right now, but I have to take Brees for two reasons: 1. Brees is a better leader, and 2. Brees isn't a HUGE DOUCHE!

This has to be the most one sided answer to a question I think I've ever seen on here. Brees for on and off the field. Rodgers is younger, maybe better to a lot of people outside of a Saint fan.

I love Drew, I love our team....if your being unbiased you have to go with Rodgers. have you watched his first 7 games?

If your unbiased you have to go with the stats. Brees is only 31, and at the top of his game. He has 6 more good years in him. Rogers doesn't come close to Brees stats, and is still developing. Its also obvious that Brees is more intelligent , better leader, more accurate, and consistent year to year.
Rogers just has a better arm, and throws less interceptions.

If I were drafting a QB I would have to take Brees over rogers ,because I would know Brees will preform at a high level, bring the team together as a leader, and would put in the extreme effort to learn our team offense.
If you hadn't noticed, Brees dosnt use a play wrist band like a lot of QB's in the NFL, he memorizes it.
Im not even sure Rogers could understand Paytons offense or the huge/complicated playbook we have.

Its Brees all the way for exactly the reasons many of you have said. Just b/c most of the analysts and media tend to downplay him for whatever reasons, no one has done it better than Brees since hes come to the Saints.

Drew Brees saved a team known for it's futility in it's worst times and that is a remarkable feat.
A person has to wonder where New Orleans would be right now if Sean Payton hadn't gotten lost while showing Drew and his wife the city.

Drew Brees, does a lot more then play football.

Oh yeah, Drew Brees. I like Green Bay, but I DON'T like Arron Rodgers. Even if Rodgres were a better QB, which he's not, I would still pick Drew, just on character alone.

I am hoping for Rodgers to have the smirk wiped off his face...somehow. They were able to get it off of Romo's face, hopefully Rodgers will be next. It makes him very unlikeable outside of GB, IMO.

I like Rodgers and no quarterback on the planet has been in the zone like he has this past year; he's qb on all my roto-leagues and I even have him paired with the Andre and Calvin in one league...

But I wouldn't change a thing and would want Drew Brees quarterbacking the Saints against any challengers; I'm just trying to find the fountain of you for Rickey, Pat and Vaughn to help this pathetic squad that calls itself a defense...
