i have turned on GW

i liked him before but as the years go by i am now turned. all he has is a blitz package and no answer for running teams because obviously the blitz is worthless against these teams. is he really content with these lbs?? why havent we actively pursued any other lb before the trade deadline? we cant win unless we score 30+ pts. No one in the history of the game can consistently put up that many pts. brees will have off days that require defensive help and he will never get that with these slap dicks we have on that side of the ball. im not sold on our last few first round defensive picks either. Prob is no elite first round talent...IMO, what does cam do besides supposedly be good against the run? a first round def end that cant rush the passer is a wasted pick to me. does he have anything else besides a blitz package?

GW's options are limited. The personnel on D lack talent. Blitz and hope for the best is his only option, because the personnel are not gonna square up and knock anybody backwards.

What about the Offense losing the game today...should we fire Payton and his O coaches to?

In all honesty strato, the O has pulled out a win when the D has played very poorly, the offense plays badly but they are going to have off games, the one thing that has been consistent since the start of the season is how bad the D have been playing

It's been going on since last season aswell, drew had to run up the score just to keep up

But that doesnt take away the fact that the O lost this one...im not giving them a pass{no pun intended}..for their play as well...

Oh yeah and I totally agree man, the O lost this game by themselves, the D scored as many points as our O did, I just mean that our O has been great since the start of the season, it's the D that has been consistently poor, I agree GW needs to do something to stop the run and change his scheme, what he's going isn't working

Greg Williams still has zero tackles, no INT's, and no sacks or forced fumbles.
He is doing what he can with the current talent or the lack thereof.
We had 26+ FA and brought in some veteran talent (or lack thereof) to try to help out.
What we see is exactly what we are this season.
We would love to be 8-0, but that's not who we are. We are the 5-3 division leader.
We are what we show: +60 on the 0-6 Colts and follow that being down 24-0 against the 0-6 Rams.
This is who we are. We're like a box of chocolates.
