I honestly don't blame this one on the D

We all know our defense is average at best. When the game started I thought they played good for the first quarter. They were forcing punts. Unfortunately, our offense stayed home. Or should I say our O line stayed home. We can't honestly expect the D we have, to stay on the filed that long and not start screwing up.

This one falls squarely on the O line and maybe even more so on the coach's.
Why are we not running the ball when we are playing the WORST run D in the NFL? It wasn't until after half time, that it seemed we started trying to run more.

Another reason I am blaming the coach's is how many more times did Brees need to get sacked before the coaching staff did something? Brown was getting owned by a player who was on the verge of being called a bust. Did we adjust and give him any help? I didn't see it. I remember we use to have to keep a RB to help and chip, when Bushrod was struggling.

So my order of blame: Coach's, O-line and wth Coach's again.

Payton's injury is clearing affecting this team more than any of us had imagined

why we wait till the 4th quarter to try and establish a running game is beyond me..

Drew was running for his life ...and yet we continued to try and pass...

I guess nobody noticed how Dallas broke a record with a rookie running back against these chumps..

When the line wont pass block maybe we should try what the lambs did..Run the ball..

until we get balance we will be up and down..

Our D played well enough to pull this one out..when it was 3 -0 we panicked and played right into their hands..Drew with no time to throw against a zone team ...spells disaster..

Average gets you 8-8 or 9-7. They were billed better than average coming out of camp. So their are NO EXCUSES in my book. This D hasn't done crap to impress me and can't man up and plan D. 4th and 2. You know what they are going to do run the damn ball at the DE's and OLB's. of ours. We have no balls on D. Come one their only weapon was Jackson and we couldn't stop him. Yeah blame it on the coaching sure but there is no Steven Jackson on our D. No one is manning up.

I am looking at the big picture here and sure I'll cut the O some slack for having a bad game but that takes away from what the rams did and they played great D and deserved the win. They took it to us and got us when our hands were down.

It look like the Saints came out to run the score up on a team that said... oh no we aren't having that.

I hear what you saying about the D. They didn't lose this one for us. Bottom line.
Someone on the coaching staff needs to go. The D has no discipline, they cant tackle, they take bad angles and they cant catch squat. If we have to rely on our D to win us games, we are screwed.

I don't blame D either. Terrible play calling, Charlie brown awful and no adjustment made, Brees made a lot of bad decisions.
Sure, tackling was ridiculous, as always, but offense did ZERO to help out

O-line, 6 sacks and pressure all day. We got our asses handed to us. Got to get it together before the next two divisional games.

So wait you don't think the D is important? They have to win games for us just as well as our Offense wins games for us. One has to help the other.

It became obvious that he is clearly needed on the sideline. Chaos.
