Im still worried about the non-take away's however im happy the D managed to stop the run and keep the pass game contained..

I was happy when i Seen Darren Sharper out there, we need his presence on the field, last time he was on the field was the last time the Saints lead in Take-away's.. Buc's use old ass Barber for exactly what we should Darren For, coaching up the D and putting his money where his mouth is on the field.

I too was glad to see him down there. Maybe they brought him in like they did Carney last year?

I was very impressed with the D today. Best game all year in my opinion. Glad to see they actually know how to tackle!! Great effort from both sides of the ball......nice to watch for a change.

I Give massive props to Dunbar, it's not easy to play MLB against a 250 lb running back and call the D when your not the starter. Massive stop by him tackling Blount on the 4th and 1.

Where was Darren Sharper? On the sidelines? Wish he was on the field or coaching jenkins

Sharper was on the sidelines... just his presence was enough to get that D to play good. Thats what I been saying... get him anywhere near the team please.

Ive been a major hater on our D this year, and today they looked very solid. Impressive at times..can I say it was just the yucs..or is it to soon after the victory? LOL

Still not very impressed with Rogers or Franklin but I've got to give props to Cam Jordan. Played out of his mind today. Good sign.

I was impressed with the entire team today, he!! they played real good football today. Looked like a great team with purpose.

I too give the props to our defense, and also props to GW, when he was screaming on the sidelines.... STAY HUNGRY, and keep up the hard hits, and tackles baby!

Tackling was very good today. Made a big difference.

More than anything else I think you hit it. Tackling. It was better today than it's been all season IMO.

Our DE's actually did some containing.

I thought the defensive line and linebackers were great. Smith and Jordon were great! The secondary was good too. I loved seeing Greg Williams pick Roman Harper up and throw him when they stopped the Bucs on 4th down. Man they were pissed and I loved watching them play like that.

Yes,that 4th down was crucial for morale.And the good thing was that it came so early that the defense has grown alot of balls afterwards.Just bad coaching from the Bucs sideline.If they made that 4th down,now that would be a different story,im just glad everyone stepped up . On the other hand we lost Porter,wich is pretty bad.And can i just say that Dunbar played better than Vilma?Thats the way i saw it,at least for this game.

This game should have been 31 - 9.

Refs gave them pass interference on Robinson, then called a bogus hold on Devery, when Sproles scored in the 4th.

Best defensive effort in 2 years. Love the way they stuffed em on 4th down.

They looked good yesterday but we still didn't get any sacks

Tackling was really good yesterday. Cam Jordan is beginning to show up. A batted pass and what should have been a sack, that whistle was garbage. Loved to see Big Shaun Rodgers come flying to knock the whole pile over on that play. I magine seeing that guy coming at you like that...

agreed, this was Cam Jordans best game so far.

This guy will get better, he's still a rookie and he'll get more comfortable soon, he definitley showed improvement yesterday.

They played with some passion and intensity this week, like the Rams played last week. Now to keep it up for the rest of the season.

The D played with a purpose not dominating but with a purpose. Now bring on the Falcons and prior to the bye I hope we make this a statement game

Like Payton said, they protected the edges and when the Bucs ran b/t the tackles there was very little room inside. When Blount got through he was immediately ganged tackled and hit hard most of the time. Good gameplan on GW and execution on the D. Maybe they didn't get the sacks but they frustrated the Bucs enough to get the roughness calls. Good enough.
