Sharper on the sidelines? Is he the new Duece!!!!

We shall see...I wouldn't mind if he came back to help us make a run..

lynwood 11-06-2011 08:03 PM

That's a very good question. I wouldn't think he would be there just passing time. Something must be cookin...

Well they brought in a bunch of DB's this week. Undrafted FA and castaways. I'll take Darren. Besides, I like the fact he's hanging with the Saints on the sideline. I know he's lost a step but the guy is a helluva ball hawk!!

QBREES9 11-06-2011 08:29 PM

Did we sign him yet !

The Rams beat us with a 38 yr old CB. Sharper can still play.

It would not surprise me if they sign him to play, coach, or consult, either way is good. His presence could be a difference, maybe even today? $$

WE NEED HIM!!!!!
It doesn't hurt to sign the guy and let him play some downs........

LOL..Dale was good in his day..i have to admit i was happy when we first signed him..

Marlboro Man 11-06-2011 09:06 PM

I saw that too and was wondering if we had re-signed him. Great to see him back on the sidelines. I know he can still play. Too many people wrote him off because he tried to come back too soon last year but he's healthy now. If he suits up next week I bet he gets at least one turnover.

SaintPauly 11-06-2011 09:21 PM

Sign him up, and suit him up! Our secondary, hasn't been the same since he left.... I am onboard, for D-Sharp's return to the Black and Gold!

Luda34 11-06-2011 09:32 PM

I don't think he come in just for show. I believe we will sign him at less I hope so.

JoanieNTX 11-07-2011 02:35 PM

I sure hope we sign him! I LOVE Sharper! I look at him like I look at my child! I see no wrong!!! ;)

Danno 11-07-2011 02:38 PM

If a 1st ballot hall of fame free safety could still play well, he wouldn't be on the street looking for a job, especially with the pass happy offenses in this league.

He's done.

papz 11-07-2011 02:45 PM

Let him get his feet wet with coaching. Hire him as a special assistant to the DB coach and let him go from there. As we continue to win, people are going to start pecking at our coaching staff like they did New England for years. It doesn't hurt to have a back up plan. Win win for everyone.

What is Mike McKenzie up to these days?
