How do you spell h-u-g-e? If you asked New Orleans Saints Coach Sean Payton, today he would probably spell the four-letter word with four numbers: 26-23.

Proved to me they can lose a stinker (Rams), put it behind them and win 2 very important games (Bucs and Falcons).

So true, the predicament Smith is in could have easily been reversed on Harper if he doesn't break up that pass in the endzone despite having great game. Even Coach Smith, up until that call had a very good game plan. It shut down the Saints running attack and forced Brees and Co to make some spectacular throws and grabs and kick some long field goals.

Mike Smith Job is under the Burner after this season, i doubt he'll get fired but he'll be criticized by everybody and if he can't get his team to finally win a Playoff game within the next 2 years, i think Blank sends him home packing.

It has to be frustrating as an owner to buy all of this talent, put tons of money into marketing the team to the fan's again and they still are unable to get a Playoff win in Mike Smith, Matt Ryan, Micheal Turner Era..

They now have a very costly Julio Jones that has produced for them but is once again on the Injury list, on top of that he's 30 years old and his contract came with giving away costly draft picks and a lot of money tied into it which could seriously damage them if they end up losing Gonzo to an inevitable retirement or free agency amongst other player's slated to hit the FA..

Atlanta banked everything on this year, A. Blank is rolling his dice and if Atlanta can't win the next 2-3 game's he may have rolled a Snake eyes on his team.

If he does who's going to put Any pressure on the qb? Cause it's not our front 4, or 3, or what ever Gregg has up there.

Definitely a huge break. Defense stopped the run the on the most important play after letting Atlanta back in the game. Luck or not, it's a win and Atlanta has to come to our house now.

Julio Jones is a 30 year old rookie?

I believe Julio is 22. Roddy White is 30. Big difference.

Think Julio Jones, Roman Harper, and Mark Ingram were bummed about the Tide's OT loss to LSU?

xan 11-15-2011 02:55 PM

given how well the three played, seems consistent with Bama Ball.

Sorry, Roman, any Bama Saint is a Saint first...no offense, just catch the easy ball next time.

Cant stop blitzing.

BUT... we miss VIlma - good year or not. He know the "D" & runs it well. We were lost at times trying to make changes based on audibles & such.
