The New Orleans Saints had a bye last week which allowed time for some healing and to maybe tweak a few things in preparation for the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. With the Atlanta Falcons hot on their heels in the NFC South, the Saints wanted to not only win but also make a statement.
Both were done. Drew Brees and the Saints domianted the Giants in a 49-24 victory to improve their record to 8-4 and drop New York to 6-5.
