Ingram's play tonight

Want to say i was really impressed with his running tonight...His best game of the year on primetime!

I am hard on him sometimes ..but i only want him to play like i know he can..Ivory won me over with his hard running last year and Ingram can do the same this year..

Keep it up young man..:bng:

He had almost doube the yards of Brandon Jacobs, on the same number of carries... Give this kid more touches and he will impress. The problem is, we spread the ball around so much, and have so much depth at RB, he will never get 30 carries a game.

All I've asked is, "SHOW me".

I like Ingram. Love having him in our 'stable'. That's the bottom line.

I mean, who wants to trade Ingram? NOT ME.

Great game tonight, fellas!!!! I'm happy and impressed and traveling to New Orleans this week!!!

Exactly why he has to make the most of it when he gets the ball...he did tonight...We will need more of that...

And don't forget our other backs...we gush RBs right now..in the words of Jon Grudan...P.T and Sproles played well..

I guarantee you if we rush for over a 100 yards we win 90% of our games...its a great weapon to have...our O-Line played well tonight and the backs hit the hole hard...

We look rested and ready to make a run at the title to me...:bng:

Love a late bye. It makes for a GREAT home stretch.

Thomas is the guy who looks like an all-pro. With his ankle cleaned out and some extra cash in his pocket, the man looks the best I've seen him as a pro.

Sean Payton - "The only thing keeping Mark Ingram from being Rookie of the Year is me".

AND when we rush for OVER 200 yards we always win the game!!! Mwah Ha Ha Ha!!

I love that little screen pass play we run with PT. We ran the same one in the SB and he scored a TD. Last nite he almost broke it for a TD again. I love the way he pinballs off of tacklers then twists and spins forward until he is finally down.

so true--but we usually run it near the sideline; last nite I was holding my breath that he wasn't going to get stripped from behind. Instead he got knocked forward 4 yards

I was very impressed with his decisiveness last night. When he got the ball, there was no hesitation and he knew exactly what to do and where to go. All I kept thinking was he's finally playing up to NFL game speed... hell even faster than it.

He's learning...

Getting better...

Yes I caught that last night as well; I've been dying for a run like that from him and he delivered one. Combined backs produced a good outing and that ultimately keep the Giants D off balanced

Last night was the first time I saw a design run for Ingram to the outside and what happened, a 35 yard TD. If they give him more plays like that he will have the big runs but most of the time they having running between the tackles making the tough yards. Which I still think he is doing a great job.

I too was pleased with his performance. I like Ingram and think he will make a very good back. He just needs time and patience. He is improving. At least he isn't toe tapping in the back field when he gets the ball while the defenders pounce on him. He gets the ball and does his best to plow through the line.

foreverfan 11-29-2011 06:17 PM

And they threw Devery the freaking ball.

halloween 65 11-29-2011 06:21 PM

I liked what Ingram did last night also,PT looked great, and Sproles did his thing but on 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1 I'll take Ivory and PT every time without hesitation.

dizzle88 11-29-2011 06:29 PM

Some people were too quick to judge Ingram, some backs can be pegged after there first couple games - thats when they aren't in a crowded backfield

Ingram is in a group of 4 RB's,

he didn't get enough carries to get into any kind of rhythm until around the colts game.

Mark played a good game, was very decisive and the guy is powerful, doesn't quit (much like PT)
