or did it seem like we got a little more pressure on Eli when we only rushed four as opposed to the insane number of blitzes we keep running. It seems like when we blitz everyone gets so bunched up at the line we can't get through. Just a thought.

I thought the front 4 was absolutely pathetic when we started playing safe/prevent.

That, and Jenkins/Harper/Porter/Robinson were the only things that really disappointed me last night.

Giants got a lot of junk yards. The defense played well enough.

Giving up 400yds passing isn't something I am proud of. 20 something straight completions. Green Bay will eat our lunch if we play defense like that.

But like most of us realize most of that was when we were up 28-10 or so. You had better complete passes when we are giving you 10-15yds a shot. At that point, game is (other than 49ers on Techno Bowl), pretty much out of reach.

Yea homer I agree. I didn't think we put any fear in Eli and like FF said he got a lot of junk yards. It just seemed to me we got closer to him at times with four than we did with the blitzes. I've kind of gotten used to the bend but don't break play of our D. I'm certainly not as put out by our D as some here are.

Anytime you have a big lead against a good QB he's going to get his yards trying to get back in the game. When you pass play after play the yards pile up in a hurry.
