McCarthy made Aaron Brooks look like a decent NFL QB.

papz 11-30-2011 06:22 PM

Maybe it's just because he's playing us this week... but it kind of feels he gives us the edge offensively.

This is true. Except for when he passed backwards.

WhoDat!656 11-30-2011 06:37 PM

LOL!!

That it did. I will never forget that play.

When Brooks was on, he was as good as any QB playing. Those lazers were an absolute thing of beauty.

But when he was off, it was gawd awfull.

Same could be said of any QB in the NFL

FireVenturi 11-30-2011 10:02 PM

Problem is he was off most of the time.

I don't think anyone will ever accuse Aaron of being one of the most intellectual qb's in the biz

"There suddenly is a lot of talk about the New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers.

Which is the best team in the NFC? Which of them has the more explosive offense? Is Drew Brees better than Aaron Rodgers? "

can you just imagine the conversations if we had managed to score at the end of that game?

Saints winning in week one would have re-aligned the entire molecular structure of the air in Lambo stadium and would have caused a riff in the space-time continuim, and set in motion events and results that no probability mapping program could possibly predict.
At the moment, the Packers are the better team. They are undefeated and we have stumbled.
I hope we meet again so it can be anwered on the field.

After the Saints win the NFCC game in Lambeau, the entire state of Wisconsin may get sucked into a wormhole!!

It's all good, but let's focus on the next opponent...

mikesaintfan 12-01-2011 12:51 PM

Turn out the lights in GreenBay, two weeks rest, then light up Indy.
Doesn't even matter who that is against.
