Jim Schwartz

I am happy that we aren't in the same div as the Lions.

I already hate Mike Smith so much that it makes my eyeballs ache when I have to see him.

If I had to look at Schwartz's CRYBABY face twice a year, I fear that my head would explode!

PUNK!

Euphoria 12-05-2011 08:07 AM

I think you summed it up with one word "PUNK".

That is exactly how his team plays. Adding a push or a punch at the end of the play... its just horrible. And it isn't just one player. You draft a guy who does that and practice that way they are going to take it into a game. And many will lash out that way. So glad we were above it and played with class and not like a bunch of punks.

Essentially... I don't care if a guy punches you in the mouth. There is no reason to 'get back at him'. If he calls your mom a whore... so what its just words. But to hit another player and get 15 yards because of it is stupid.

If the Saints retaliated they would have drew a penalty and they would have been off setting so good on the boys!

darstep 12-05-2011 08:35 AM

Saints knew they were immature and probably planned on baiting the hook.
There was probably a pot: how many retaliation flags they could get from those clowns.
They played right into it. You would think that after the 1st one, they would have learned.
Cam Jordan had to get an ear full after his boner. Good thing Payton was on crutches.

Schwartz is really a smart coach, and I am also glad he isn't in our division, the Lions have came a long way since he has been their coach { I remember another team like that at one time not to long ago} and they are 1 to 2 players from being true contenders.

44Champs 12-05-2011 09:16 AM

You would think that after losing Suh for two weeks, Schwarz would be reaming those players for the personal fouls. Instead, he's patting them on the head and putting his arm around them as they're coming off the field. No wonder his team isn't getting the message.

I have a totally different opinion of "Handshake-Gate" after seeing them play yesterday and watching that crybaby on the sidelines.

Extremely undisciplined team and I blame it on the coach.

niteadept 12-05-2011 12:52 PM

Hate it for the couple of good guys on the team who continued to be screwed by the thugs and clueless coach. Here's to wishing them a chance to play for a classy, winning coach like SP in the future.

What about HITTING an official? What? And not getting ejected? When I saw that, I looked at my wife and asked her "Did he just hit the official?" because I couldn't believe what I just saw. Wow! I knew when I saw that that the game was getting out of control, and these guys cared nothing about good sportsmanship. I'm just glad we got out of that game without any injuries.

total classless cheap-shot team trying to be tough.
im glad the nfl and goddell are coming down on them

How did they not eject the player for that? never seen anything like that before

arsaint 12-05-2011 01:04 PM

I couldn't believe that shoving the ref didn't result in an ejection.

Something tells me it will result in a fine...

JoanieNTX 12-05-2011 02:58 PM

See, I think 2nd half they were trying to give Detroit a little edge for viewership, if nothing else! Maybe they didn't eject him because Detroit had lost so many already....due to their own stupidity. Doesn't make it right, though. If it had been us, we'd have been "outta there!" I would really like to see a bit of fairness in the officiating. What is good for one should be good for the other. They need to at least be consistent. He SHOULD have been ejected!

The NFL should hold training sessions in the off-season, teaching all the officials to look for and call similar actions the same...

Which is what Roman Harper did on the sidelines. What is up with the guy? It would have been 15 yards as it was a facemask on the Lions but Harper messed it up by hitting the receiver out of bounds even though the play was being handled. I like Harper but he seems to be lacking control this season.

Hey every coach brings their own perosnality to the game. How many fans of other teasm complain about SP OR GW?? (Hell we complain about GW!!)

At least none of our coaches is like Andy Ried or others who are members of the "Dicky Do Club" (my stomach sticks out further than my dicky do!)

exactly. I wanted him to knock Harbaugh on his a**, after that 49ers/Lions game, and I was on Schwartz's side then.

I dont know if you could see it on tv, but there was crap after every other play, it seemed, and you could even predict when a Lion was going to pop
up, start jawing, and flailing around. They were so busy doing dumb sh**, they forgot to play. Take away the stupidity, and they had a chance against us.

You never really took a good look at GW have you! He's packing a few pounds!

Shmuck is the word that keeps popping up in my head when it comes to Schwartz, takes everything so personal. His team played out of it's mind the first five or six games of the season but most of those were comebacks you had to figure at some point they bubble would burst. He was laying his wins on pretty thick to other coaches. That's why Harbaugh did what he did if you ask me. The handshake was sorta saying I got you schmuck. He couldn't take it. Schwartz in house probably condones the things that his team is doing, he can't control their stupidity and eventually will lose his undisciplined squad.
