Owens and his agent, David Joseph, failed to send the proper paperwork to void his contract. Instead of becoming a free agent in March, Owens is now under contract for three more years. Could not have happened to a better person. I love this. |

Well... they can cut him. Both sides seem to want out. I\'m sure they can reach an agreement. This way, Owens can market himself, get a new contract somewhere, and the 49ers may be able to get a draft pick or something out of it.
