#17 in scoring D.
Not great but it's the only ranking that I think matters.

Someone help me.

We gave up 1902 YAC on what? 293 completions. I reckon that is less than 6.5 yards per catch.

And that team in GA (I can't say their name) rated 18th did what? 1459 YAC on 274 completions. That is 5.3 yards per catch.

Difference 1.2 yards.

For me, just stop the completions and we are all set. And whilst I am on that point -
Opponents completion rate v Saints = 57.7%
v that GA team = 60.4%

Now that's what I am talking about. WHO DAT!

With the style of play the Saints use on defense, I'm surprised that the completion percentage isn't higher especially after seeing Eli and Stafford complete almost every pass they attempted in those games

Great comment RC83.

But Eli was only 14 of 31.

But the Saints really really give up completions late in the game for the most part when GW brain has become burned out and he asks 1/2 his defense to blitz whilst the other 1/2 props up the goal posts in the end zone. You know the type of defense that teams are showing Tebow late in games to boost his Justice League of America status.

Is it yards after catch or yards dragged after catch. They are better players than that.

Play all man coverage with two safeties deep, change it up a little

Then bring harper to the line and get him to blitz - problem solved

we never have two safeties deep, its always just jenkins and a load of zone coverages, thats why we get burned all the time.

GW, mix it up a little bit!
