Saints Surpassing and Approaching the Following NFL Records

With the Saints chasing the 49ers for the second seed, it is possible that the Saints will smash some of the following records.

2. Drew Brees became the 1st QB in NFL history to complete 80% of passes, while throwing for 400 yards and 0 INTs.

3. Brees passed for 300+ yards for the 11th time this season, a new NFL record.

4. Brees passed for 350+ yds for the 7th time this season, a new NFL record.

5. Brees has thrown 37 TDs this season, a new Saints record.

6. Brees has extended his streak of consecutive games with a TD to 41 games.

7. Brees currently has an NFL-leading completion percentage of 71.5%. The current record is 70.6%, set by Brees in '09.

8. The Saints offense is closing in on the all-time record for offensive yards. The 2000 Rams had 7075 yds. Currently, the Saints have 6394 offensive yds, needing 682 to break the record. The team record is 6571 set in 2008.

Also, Roman Harper can break the NFL single season record for sacks by a DB.

Now I wasn't on board with that one. Harper has 7.5 sacks already.
Is the record 8.0 by Adrian Wilson (Ariizona Cardinals)?

BTW Harper can break the NFL single season records for fines. Just jokin'

Not an NFL record, but Saints record 3 consecutive winning seasons for the first time.

Fact is, we smashed it with 3 consecutive 11+ seasons. Justr think - Indy have lost more regular season games this year than the Saints have lost obver the last 3.

WHO DAT!
